1. Macropygia tenuirostris : There is some confusion over the assignment of this species, which in China occurs in the Lanyu Islands off Taiwan. This population is also treated as Macropygia phasianella (by Cheng for instance) or M. amboinensis (by M&P). Howard & Moore 2003 regard M. phasianella as a subspecies of M. amboinensis. |
