How is 'ministry' translated?

The word for a ministry or government department is in Chinese and bộ in Vietnamese. Japanese uses shō, which in Chinese normally means 'province'. ( bu in Japanese is of lower rank, corresponding to a division of a government ministry.)

This name has been covered before at Book 4 Chapter 10 ('Mayhem at the Ministry of Magic').
