The author mistakenly uses a slightly different name from the first two books in the series.

The Chinese translator continues to follow a single formula. The Taiwanese translator returns to the original formula found at The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 1).

Possibly under the influence of the English original, however, the Japanese translator abandons the formula she used in the first two books.

The Vietnamese translator also follows the original pattern used from the first book. However, the word 'spell' is rendered bùa chú 'amulets and incantations' instead of thần chú 'spells, incantations' as found in the first two books.
